Payment terms

Payment in our bookstores - cash, bank card or vouchers

You can pay in cash (HUF only!), by bank card or with gift vouchers in our bookshops. 

Payment on delivery in Hungary – cash or bank card 

When choosing this option, you are required to pay for your order to the courier in person when you receive your parcel. You can opt for either cash or bank card payment. 

Payment by bank card 

When you place an order and click on the ’Pay’ button, you will be directed to the SimplePay site and you can start the transaction by giving your bank card details (providing the number, expiration date and CSC - card security code - of your bank card). You will receive a confirmation email on your successful payment. Payment is possible with all types of MasterCard, Maestro, VISA and AMEX cards.

We dispatch your order the first workday following your successful transaction.

Payment with PayPal

If you choose to use PayPal, the number of your invoice and the final sum to be paid will be sent to you via e-mail. Click on the 'Pay Now' button to start the transaction. Here, you will have two options:

1. Payment through your own (already existing) account.

2. Payment by bank card.

As soon as we receive confirmation that your transaction was successful, we prepare your parcel and hand it over to GLS. At the same time, we notify you in an e-mail about the tracking number of your parcel.

Payment with Barion

Barion is an electronic payment service for secure and comfortable payments by bank card or via a previously uploaded account at transactions in webshops and mobile aps. The service is provided by Barion Payment Zrt supervised by the Hungarian National Bank, permission number: H-EN-I-1064/2013.

To pay by bank card, it is not necessary to register. It is enough to provide the bank card number, the expiration date, the CVC code at the back of the card and your email address. However, if you register, you will not have to give these details at your next purchase, it is enough to provide your email address.

You can use your Mastercard or Maestro bank card, Visa or Electro bank card and Amex bank card.

If you don’t have a bank card, you can pay using your account by transferring the necessary sum previously by bank transfer or cash upload. You can pay by giving your email address and password.

Transferring in advance

The invoice of your order is sent to you via e-mail. If you accept the attached invoice, you will be required to transfer the final sum to this account number:  K&H:10200823-22221582-00000000. Please note that in this case your transaction needs to also include the serial number of your invoice.

When choosing this method of payment, you will have a specific deadline to meet regarding the transaction. If you miss this deadline, our system will automatically delete your order and we will have no means of processing it.

After a successful transaction a finalized invoice will be issued, which you will either receive via e-mail or, if you have opted for collecting your parcel from our shop, in person.
